Department of Electronic Science and Engineering
1. Faculty
The Department has 38 teachers, of which 14 with senior professional and technical titles and 14 with intermediate professional technical titles, 10 with master’s degrees and the above, and 2 doctoral tutors specially invited from Wuhan University and Henan Normal University.
2. Number of students.
There are now more than 1000 students in the Department.
3. Achievements in scientific research
More than 260 academic papers and 25 books have been published by teachers of the Department, and 20 research projects have been completed, and more than 30 prizes were awarded for academic research in recent years. The Department of Electronic Science and Engineering was cited as an advanced collective for academic research in 2002 by Henan Planning Office of Educational Science.
4. Activities with unique characteristics
The Department has actively conducted various activities that are helpful for the overall development of students whilst emphasizes on professional teaching and management. It has set up groups for home appliances repairing, scientific and technological fabrication and social investigation as well as an electronic technical association, and conducted rich 2nd classroom activities which have achieved obvious effect in raising the comprehensive quality of students.
