Department of Economic Management
1. Faculty
The Department has 45 teachers, of which 2 professors, 9 assistant professors, 10 lecturers; 3 teachers with doctoral degrees and 21 teachers with master¡¯s degrees.
2. Number of students.
There are now more than 1300 students in the Department.
3. Laboratory and facilities
The Department has set up a laboratory of accounting computerization, laboratory of E-commerce, simulation room of accounting, analogue bank, simulation room of business negotiation, simulation laboratory of catering service and guestroom service, which provide conditions for various practices of professional skills at school.
4. Achievements in scientific research
More than 150 academic papers have been published by teachers of the Department, and 68 research projects have been completed, and more than 50 prizes were awarded for academic research.
5. Activities with unique characteristics
The Department sticks to the idea of taking people first, and attaches great importance to independent management and individual development of students. Accounting society, travel association, speech contest and debate, football and basketball matches, and other various technical and professional skills contest are organized, providing a platform for students to enhance their comprehensive quality.
It adheres to the training mode of laying emphasis on the cultivation of basic and comprehensive knowledge, strong capability and high quality, highlighting training of students¡¯ quality and vocational and professional skills. Graduates from it are well received on the job market.
