Department of Chinese Language and Literature
1. Faculty
There are 55 teachers in the Department, of which 5 with doctoral degrees and 22 with master¡¯s degrees.
2. Number of students
There are now 1312 students on campus.
3. Laboratory and equipment
It has set up several student groups such as Fangzhou Literary Society, Qingzhu Art Society, Houji Society, Editorial Department of University News, and Tai Chi Quan Society, and has published a few newspapers and magazines including University News (a newspaper), Fang Zhou (a literary periodical), Houji Periodical (a academic periodical), which provide a wide platform for comprehensive development of students¡¯ ability.
4. Achievements in scientific research
The Department has strong ability in scientific research. In recent years, more than 145 academic papers and 25 books have been published by teachers of the Department, and 27 research projects of department-level above have been completed, and more than 29 prizes for academic research were awarded.
