Department of Social Sciences
1. Faculty
There are 68 teachers in the Department, of which 35 professors and assistant professors, 16 lecturers, 17 teaching assistants; 4 teachers with doctoral degrees and 25 teachers with master’s degrees, forming a teaching team with a reasonable structure on age, professional title, education level and knowledge.

There are now 550 students on campus.
3. Achievements in scientific research
More than 120 articles and 20 books have been published and 100 scientific research projects have been finished by teachers of the Department in the recent 3 years.
4. Activities with unique characteristics
It has set up a psychological consultation service center, a legal consultation service center, Tianzhong History and Culture Research Institute, etc.

(1) Ideological and Political Education (undergraduate program)
Core modules: Marxist Philosophy, Political Economics, Western Economics, Political Science, Management Science, Ethics, Logics, Theory on Ideological and Political Education, Mao Zedong’s Thought, Deng Xiaoping’s Theory, Modern World Economy and Politics, Introduction to Science of Law, etc.
(2) Public Undertaking Management (undergraduate program)
Core modules: Management Theory, Public Undertaking Management, Managerial Psychology, Human Resource Development and Management, Managerial Economics, Public Relations, Public Finance, Study of Public Organization, Managerial Secretary, An Outline of Public Policy, Managerial Quantitative Analysis, Statistics, Administrative Science, Management Information System, E-Government Affairs, etc.
