In order to improve the teaching skills of English teachers, and have a better service for international program between Huanghuai University and foreign universities, eight English teachers including Yang Li, Ren Feng, Liu Zhengyuan and so on started their journey to Bangor University of UK for one-month training in July, 2009. Tan Zhen, Dean of International College and Director of International Affairs Office and deputy director Wang Baoyu saw them off at the station.
Under the guidance of the philosophy“Enhancing cooperation with world-renowned universities and Introducing high–quality International education resources”, HHU made great efforrs on pomoting international coopertion, enhancing communications between the demestic and foreign teachers. In recent years, our university is dedicated to developing a group of teachers with international consciousness and qualified skills. In every summer and winter holiday, there are Some teachers who were dispatched to cooperated universities to visit there. In this way, the teachers could have a better understanding of British education, culture, customs and so on, also they could improve their English teaching skills in some way. Such a plan will make great contribution for reform of our school’s English teaching.
