Georgian College Delegation Visit to Huanghuai University
From Feb. 24 to 25, Mr. Paul Stevens, Associate Director of International Project Development at Canada¡¯s Georgian College, came to visit our university. The delegation also included Mr. Kuo Chen, International Project Manager and Mr. George Dangerfield, Director of Chinese Programs and International Projects.
On Feb. 24, the delegation visited language labs and the Apple Computer Laboratory of the International College. Following this visit Vice Chancellors of Huanghuai University Wang Bing and Zhang Xinyan met the delegation in the reception room. They reviewed the meeting of the chancellors of the two universities in 2007 and expressed their anticipation of meaningful future cooperation. Both agreed that the cooperation between the two universities will offer more pathways for our program students.
On Feb. 25, the delegation met the international students who major in Automotive Engineering. Mr. Stevens introduced Georgian College and the program briefly and answered students¡¯ questions.
A Memorandum of Understanding expressing the desire of both institutions to pursue further collaboration was signed by Mr. Stevens and Vice-Director Wang Baoyu at the end of the visit.
