The visiting of UK Coventry University Delegation
Recently, the United Kingdom Coventry University international exchanges and cooperation Mr. Paul Bryne, Computer Network Engineering Prof. Alastair Rilton, the delegation came to visit our school. Chancellor Lou Yuangong cordially met Mr. Paul Bryne and his party in the reception room.
Chancellor Lous on behalf of Huanghuai Univeristy to welcome Mr. Paul Bryne and the delegation. He said, and the Huanghuai Univeristy and Coventry University has been a very good cooperation. Mr. Paul Bryne and the delegation will further enhance the communicating between Huanghuai University and Coventry University.
Chancellor Lou briefly introduced the guests on the development of our university, students training situation, and presented gifts to the guests. Mr. Paul Bryne said Coventry University attaches great importance to contact with the Huanghuai University, the two sides were in a very friendly cooperation before, and achieved a certain result, and also hopes to further promote the relationship between the two universities in the future.
The two sides also exchanged some other issues, Vice-Chancellor of Huanghuai University Lu Lin and Wang Bing participated in the meeting.
During the visiting, respectively on the 14th to the 17th 2007, Coventry University computer network systems engineer Professor Alastair L Railton made several interesting reports to International College students in our multi-function room.
Afternoon of 18th Noverber 2007, the Coventry University delegation, the international communicating and cooperation office in our school, International College, electronic engineering department, and other departments of science and related courses’ department leaders discussed and changed the ideas of the courses conjunction and professional teachers and training issues. And proposed the next step cooperation between two universities.
