2007 teaching conference
November 23 2:30 pm, 2007 teaching conference openning celemony was grandly hold int the conference center. Chancellor Lou Yuangong, the Party Associate Secretary Zhang Qianzhong, Vice-Chancellor Lu Lin, Wang Bing and Li Lianqun, Zhang Xinyan, Chairman of Labor Union Wang Ruili attended the meeting. Party Associate Secretary Zhang Qianzhong presided the meeting.
The mission of this education and teaching meeting is: to the party's "big 17" as a guidance to implement the scientific concept of development requirements. Recalled the past three years we passed, summarize the experience, realize the situation, promote the cognition, unified thinking, further clarify our university’s education and teaching guiding ideology, development ideas and the main tasks of the next three years. Effectively raise education quality, and strive to promote our university’s education and teaching work to a new stage. For the realization of building qualified undergraduate university with tireless effort, which brought forward in the First Party Congress of Huanghuai University.
Chancellor Prof. Lou Yuangong made an opening statement. Chancellor Lou said in his opening statement, we held the education meetings is to take the party's guiding spirit of the great 17th, and fully implement the goals and tasks which brought forward in the First National Congress of Huanghuai University.Under the foundation of summarising experience, affirming the achievements, to identificate the gaps, and seek countermeasures to further clarify teaching developments aim and work ideas in a period of times. To strengthen the foundations, characteristics, and comprehensively improve our university’s education quality. And bring the entire university to a new level, and create a new development situation in the constructing of Huanghuai University. He hopes that every teacher and straff of the Huanghuai University can take a high sense of responsibility and a strong sense of mission, and give full of their intelligence and wisdom, offer advice and suggestions. To make this education and teaching conference opened into a firm belief, specified direction meeting. Oened into a cohesion of the people and forging ahead in unity meeting. Oened into a full of future and achieve greater glories meeting.
Vice-Chancellor, Professor Lu Lin as a deputy of the Party and Government Administration System made a presentation entitled “Strengthen the foundation, agglomerate characteristics, and comprehensively improve the quality of our university education”.
The “report” contains three parts. The “report” recalled the education and teaching work of Huanghuai University since the undergraduate programs founded. And confirms the recent education and teaching objectives and requirements of our university. And bring forward the work propose for the next three years teaching and education’s major tasks and measures. The “report” asked the teachers and staffs of Huanghuai University to feel ownership and a strong sense of responsibility. To develop self-improvement, and the fine tradition of tenacious struggle. To challenge limits, with the courage and mind to surpass self. And strive to build a qualified and distinctive features of the undergraduate university. Using the wisdom and sweat of teachers and staffs to compose a brilliant chapter of Huanghuai University.
